pro sport coilovers

Featured Replies

No it's because the struts are shorter than the standard ones.

This should not be the case though as all the Coilovers that are meant for VRS , like Weitec, KW, H&R, Spax, are all a adjustable platform coil over that the drop link bracket is in correct place as mentioned. If Pro Sport have made a shorter coilover that has meant the Platform sits lower than the mentioned coil overs making the drop link bracket sit lower, then they aint designed for the VRS and should not be quoted for the VRS.

I bet the Manufacturer just copied std none VRS ARB settings and stuck a bracket on to then quote fit's all.

It has been mentioned that at the price Pro Sport can be bought for what do folks expect...If ppl can make fit and they work and ppl are happy good job, but not for me...

both the last 2 comments are spot on!

There is always different requirements by different members, but have noticed, there are those that spend as little as possible....and usually end up coming back on with problems down the line, and those that bite the bullet and do it properly to start with...

Its like people who change springs, and not shocks, then wonder why their car handles badly..

you pretty much always get what you pay for in life, cheap is cheap for a reason...

i was considering a kia sedona sliding door instead of my rear door, just need to get the 12" grinder out to start opening the side of the car up a bit

Mmmmmm, in Kia Gold.

That'll look grrrrrrrreat!

Unless the are a lot shorter it shouldnt matter. Iirc the weitecs and kw I have are a shorter body too.

It is not really about the shorter shock/strut it is about where the Manufacturer has attached the bracket to the strut from the base. And on the Pro Sports it is miles different to the Weitec or std strut's meaning you just can't use the 336mm std drop link. If the Manufacturer had no choice because the strut length was so different then the Manufacturer clearly did not spec/test with the VRS and my point below is probably true.
