Unlocking With The Key

Featured Replies

I thought I'd try something today. I fully opened both front windows (electric) and locked using the key. On a turn and hold of the key in the lock position, both windows closed.

I tried the reverse and unlocked using the key and both windows opened fully.

Does everyone's do this? Why can't it do this on the fob too? Is there a way to get this to work using the standard fob, without purchasing an aftermarket alarm system?

Car is a 2007 Fabia vRS SE.

Had my octy coded using vcds and it now does it on the fob, dunno if it works on the fabia tho

It's not possible on the fob :( I can't remember the reason but it's just not lol

I didn't even know this could be done :) just now tried it on my ibiza and it worked. Great for a hot summers day etc

It's handy for when the other half forgets to do her window up lol.
