Spacer Help Again!

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

Need help with my cars wheels. Standard 17" Zenith alloys as fitted to my mk2 Octavia vRS.

Car has been lowered 35mm on H&R springs and the wheels are now sat too far in to the arches.

Can anyone recommend some spacers and sizes to bring the wheels out more. My wheels look lost!

Appreciate any help.

15mm at the rear and 10mm on the front :)

Exactly what I needed- thank-you very much for the info.

Just checking- will this set-up cause any rubbing issues on my front and rear arches?

Thanks again.

You will be fine. I'm sure if you put a quick post asking what spacers people are running in the mk2 forum you'll be assured.

The standard zeniths are only 7.5" wide with a 51 offset and I run 8.5 with a 45 offset so basically 18.5mm more than std. This will make 15mm spacers 3.5mm less than mine.

Hope that helps.

Thank-you for that explanation! I finally understand what the offset is, couldn't get my head around it before. I'll feel much more comfortable running 15mm on the rear and 10mm on the fronts. I've found the ones I want through H&R, will order them now.

Thanks again for your input.
