Here's some of the details of my lovely octavia for sale, slight change of plan about what I want to replace it, but I'm open to almost anything, as long as its a manual and in very good condition.

57000 miles on the clock

2005 octavia hatch

2.0tdi dsg (140bhp)

all the toys on it inc heated seats

full service history, (not skoda)

cambelt done at 37000 miles

recent service inc front brakes

long mot and tax

both keys, all paperwork including loads of service reciepts, and all old mot's to prove mileage

very very good condition, must be seen and driven,

only fault is reversing sensors dont work 100% of the time.

I am only selling this car as my wife doesnt like driving an automatic, so I will be looking for a manual as a replacement,

any interest in a swop/part ex with a petrol octavia vrs , may be able to put a few pennies towards a nice one.

£4495 ono

car and me in Brecon, S wales.

cheers

Mike

I just replied to your post on my topic in the wanted section, I really wish this was manual.

She looks in fantastic condition, low miles with great spec, amazing value for 4k.

Good luck with the sale, someone is going to get a fantastic motor for very little money.

Still for sale taffyboy? Am watching in interest as I have an identical vehicle (albeit an 06) and am toying with idea of dropping to one car as we don't need two in our house anymore, but just cannto bring myself to do it.

Especially not for £4K! I only bought it in 2011 and spent £7K on it. To lose £3K on it in under 2 years brings water to my eyes. And, have you seen how much the dealers still punt these cars for?????

g_tee I think its sold mate, all done apart from the cash changing hands,

the car drives fantastic, and if I didnt need to sell then I would of kept it for a very time, the longer I drive and use it the more I am taken by the dsg and the engine, I cant see me replacing it for a better car, unless I spend more money that I havent got :(

g tee, I took the highest bid I received in the end mate,

I dont know why it was hard to sell, maybe because I didnt own it long, but the car was absolutely lovely and the more I used it the more I liked it,

beleive it or not according to the maxidot it was doing better mpg than my old fabia tdi over the 2.5k I drove it, up to a combined 73.5 mpg on my way to work one day (40 miles) :)
