Battery to the spare wheel well is about the best really. That's not just removing weight, its putting it in a better place.

Carbon fibre bonnet and lighter singlemass flywheel will also help a tiny bit.

what is the actual weight of a fabia vrs? Parkers states 1315kg.. it seems like a lot for what the fabia is.. considering a golf gti mk5 is only 13kg heavier.. with heated seats, lot more comfort, bulkier body etc..

Also, how much weight would I save going from Octavia vRS Spider alloys to something like Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 or OZ superleggera?
