Front Fogs & DRLs

Featured Replies

HI Rab-k,

I'm not sure if they're 'legal' to be honest. The fog lights are I think 55W and as DRL's are set at 60% brightness so run at roughly 33W, so it could be argued that although the fog light units are being utlilsed, the light output is not that of fog lights......

They are set in VCDS as North American DRL's and only operate when the handbrake is off. I don't like the Scandinavian setting as this also runs the tail lights.

Cheers,

Peter

Idiots out in near zero visibility were there is snow, sleet, rain and all sorts just need some lights on front and rear, not DRL's to the front, or sidelights or blown lights

or that switch at 'Auto'.

Bloody Central Scotland and all the gear and no idea with so many drivers.

16 & 66 plate 'Company Car Drivers' might be a generalisation but what a bunch of Ar535.
