Use rear washer and inside boot trim wet and water runs through the trim

Featured Replies

Using the rear washer results in water running through the plastic trim.

Is this a common problem and is there a guide to fix the problem?

Thanks

this happened to me recently.

The hose had popped off at the rear wiper. It's just a push fit.

Basically you need to pull off the plastic boot panel, refit the hose and then refit the panel. Its about 12 of those push fit clips. Sounds straight forward but it was a nightmare. I got there in the end but took a lot longer than it sounds.

I had the opposite, I found it easy enough. I find having plastic spatulas for taking trim off to be immensely handy!

So its another trim off jobby. Can see mt snapping a few of those plastic clips..

Lucky I got a few set aside from the carrier fix days!

Really easy as above

I had mine happen just after I re sealed the doors and finally got the mats dry!

Then they were soaked again lol
