Anyone with a 4X4 know when the Haldex oil should be changed.

My service manual says 40000 miles but my Skoda garage says between 3-4 years. So who is right?Any idea of cost. Have been quoted £50, £95 and £116 seem to vary a lot

40,000 miles.

But then it changed on a later version of the Haldex to a time only regime (hence the 3-4 years).

As you have a facelift I suspect you will get away with the 3 year interval but if it were my car for the sake of the £60 I paid I'd go by the book and change it at 40K.

All change!

Have had it done- only needs oil as there is no filter on mine. Cost £39.50. Great!

On mine it's 40k too and you're supposed to get the rear diff done at the same time

Checked with dealer and SUK - both said @ 3 years.

From a certain production date. Earlier (pre-facelift) models still require a change at 40,000 miles.
