Had the day off work today so I thought i'd spend the day getting the fab back to a mirror finish

- Pre-wash Bilt Hamber Autofoam

- Rinse

- Wash AutoGylm Conditioning Shampoo with a touch of fairy liquid

- Rinse

- Meguiars Soft Clay Bar using AutoGlym Rapid Detailer

- Bilt Hamber Autofoam

- Rinse

- AutoGlym Super Resin Polish

- Meguiars NXT Liquid Wax

- Collinite 845

- Meguiars Endurance Tyre Gel

- Wet+Dry Vac on interior mats with AutoGlym Hi-Foam Interior Shampoo

Definitely pleased with the results. Admittedly I'm sure there are more steps and different products to use to get an even more better result.. also apologies for the awful phone camera

If you don't mind me asking

Why did you use two waxes? (NXT and Collinite)

A coat of Collinite after the NXT Wax will probably have removed it with the solvents in the wax

Unless you left it several hours between coats..........then you can layer with others and the same wax

I used both waxes due to my thinking of the NXT being easy to apply and for me found it to be an extremely good first coat wax then to leave it to cure for at least 4 hours before applying 845 which is a much more durable and hard wearing wax. Maybe that's wrong but it does seem to give a much deeper and longer lasting shine and protection than either one of the other used alone.. although again i haven't done double coats of each either.

Yeah.. I was surprised myself! Started at 8 this morning, went in at 9 to buy V fest tickets then continued afterwards to manage to get the wax curing times.
