Hi I'm new to this think the forum is great

I'm 20 and drive a Fabia 1.4 mpi 02

I replaced the window regulator on my car today and stupidly broke the door lock pin clean off. I thought that it really is not needed, so left it off as I could not figure out how to re fit it.

I replaced the door card making sure that the door cable release was hooked on and secured all the arm rest. The window now works fine. but the door will not open from inside the car. I can hear the cable pulling on the lock but that's all it does. The external handle works fine.

Was wondering of anybody could help with any advice on what I can do to solve this, or will I have to buy a new lock mechanism? Thanks in advance

Welcome to the site. Its probably worth posting your question in the Fabia Mk1 section where people who have probably done the same at some stage will be able to give you some advice.

In fact there is a nearly identical post in the Fabia section now.
