Anyone familiar with GDA Cars in Guiseley Leeds?

Featured Replies

Just seen a Scout they have for sale on Autotrader, it's cheap.

They are a trade seller but no address and a mobile number only...

Worth a look or save the effort!?

never heard of them and only couple of miles away

I'm even closer and neither have I.

Wills Gill is a semi-made farm track that leads down to a couple of farms. Never been down there but the photos definitely haven't been taken on Wills Gill

His Ebay feedback looks good though - could be the Wills Gill is his home address and he operates from a compound elsewhere.

OK - I have now :-)

Just been out for a wander around 18th/19th Century Guiseley. Wills Gill is a private road but is a public footpath about half its length obviously well used by dog walkers! Where the public footpath turns off there are signs that make it pretty clear that it is private beyond!

Cluster of expensive converted barns and farmhouses with Range Rovers in abundance! I guess Three Oaks is one of them.

HAd a look at a couple of places nearby that I thought may be GDA but they were other 3 letter car sales!

Thanks guys, went to see it this morning.

His house is a good way down the track, with half a dozen cars on the drive, a small scale trader, buys at auction.

He had a VW Golf, Audi A4, an Audi A5 and the Octavia Scout, all ex-fleet with healthy mileages.

The guy is genuine and honest and the Scout was priced right but not for me.

It was certainly showing it's mileage with a tatty and well worn interior, refurbed alloys and it's had a small bump at some point with uneven gaps around the headlights. Recent MOT's and a receipt for the cambelt service but no service book.

It's the cheapest Scout on eBay at the moment and I'm sure it'll sell well.

Tatty interior is a bit odd, mine has more miles than that and is used for country jaunts, family camping trips and lugging work exhibition kit around and is nigh on immaculate barring a few scrapes to the plastic bits around the boot area.

Refurbed alloys on a scout is no surprise, mine were in a terrible state before I went the same way.

Considering I bought my 08 model 3years ago at 30k for £12k prices are still holding up surprisingly well.
