Adding wheel fenders but still sceptical...

Featured Replies

If there something that I always wanted to tackle with regards to exterior looks was the car's width. Because it's tall, it is very hard to make the car look biffy even with slamming it low (not keen on that for many reasons).

One way, some will say, would be to install an s2000 kit but unfortunately that would make the car very wide and create huge problems with steering, commuting and of course mot checks. So I believe that some fender work and a set of spacers is the best alternative.

What I've seen and really like is the looks of some Audi fenders on their top of the range models. Mostly I like the way the fender blends with the rest of the body and doesn't look like an add on plus is not too extreme. Maybe something tasteful as that would make the Fabia look "meaner"?

I would like people's opinions on the subject and also how I should go about it. Metal work, fiberglass?

If you are talking about the s2000 bodykit yes I've found a few. Some cheap some not, some in good condition and some not. But they could be too much, don't you thinks itch regards to the look of the car?

wheel arch rolling

Do it :D

yes probably, your car would just need subtle ones :)

I will do my wheel-arches next week so that my 225/35/18 stops scraping xD!

If possible try to document, would be interested to see how it's done on a Fabia. Are you wearing spacers by the way?

I got some spacers laying around, but on the summer I'm using 8" wide rims which (with the ET in account) ends up like it's spacers on the stock-rims ;P!

I'll document it and pop some pictures for you!

Photoshop it first :) you don't want to make a mess of it now :)
