They're pretty cool John. They can vesa mount onto the back of your telly. I'll be running Windows 8 on mine. They supposedly draw 6.5W idling at the desktop, measured at the wall.

When are they actually shipping them? Seems a long time since they were announced, they do look interesting particularly given their processor is Sandybridge based not Atom so performance should be pretty good for the price.

The i3 ones have been out for a while but are too expensive. The i5 / i7 ones should be out in a couple of months. The Celeron one I've got on pre-order is due any day now. Some places in Europe are already shipping them.

Whats the spec of the Celly one? - i mean normally celly = **** ;)

So I've got it set up. Total spend on the NUC, RAM and SSD was £187.

It's absolutely amazing. It's the perfect Plex client. I just got the Plex app for my phone too. The combo of a microserver / plex server, NUC running Plex HT and the plex app on your phone is just incredible. There is no better media solution.

i really dont need one but for some strange reason i might just end up with one soon
