FACEBOOK - Tag a page i 'liked' in a photo?

Featured Replies

Ok, might sound a daft thing to ask, it's easy right? just click tag and enter the name of the page..... Well why does this not work for me?

I took a few photos on Sunday at a new, just getting started equestrian centre. My fiancee rides and show jumps so took one of her ponies there to have a look and have a go. I took my camera gear (i do a bit of photography at the weekends) and thought seeing as they were just starting out and they seemed lovely people, i'd tag them in some photos on facebook so they would show in their gallery, helps them out if anyone looking in see's a few decent photos (and you never know, maybe they might need a photographer for an occasional show so could be some benefit to me too)

Well, when i click 'tag' and enter their name, their name never comes up.... I've tried over and over again but it never comes up.... i tried entering briskoda to see if that comes up and sure enough it does, is it a setting on their end that prevents me from doing this??

Steve

maybe they don't allow you to tag them in their own privacy settings? Just a thought.

are you friends with them on facebook?

Yeah i guess that must be what it is....

Not 'Friends' no, it is a 'Liked' page.... Facebook's own help page says it should be possible to Tag the photos, even says you don't have to of even 'Liked' the page to be able to do it, but i still can't do it and it doesn't suggest any reasons as to why not. Oh well, no biggy, just bugging me.

are your privacy settings on the pictures set to public?

You need to be friends to tag them in photos iirc
