Hey guys, I have my mk1 vRS now with almost 2 months and i love it!

However not long after owning it, I wanted to plug it in and see what features could be turned on.. and to my amazement, it has no features at all! Not even the automatic locking doors once you drive over 10km/h..

Is that the same on all vRS'? There are no courtesy features at all in these cars?

Sure you can enable autolocking with vcds. Tells you how to do it on the Ross Tech site somewhere.

Aye mine has the auto locking above 10mph too. Unsure why yours wouldn't!

I've got the single press driver's door unlocking on mine, just so I can "forget" to press it twice to let swmbo in when it's cold and raining after she's wound me up lol

Strange!! I can't get into the mileage on it either, comes up with an error.. However I do have its history, so i know it's genuine.. Very odd!

Has your car been remapped? Don't some remappers code the ecu to stop people copying the map?

No it's completely standard.. Makes no sense really! Another thing I noticed is that when i sit in the car without the seatbelt on, and turn on the ignition it makes a ding noise 6x times with the seatbelt warning light on the dash, but then the light goes off even without wearing the seatbelt.. Does this happen everybody elses too?

not sure you can 'code' it out, but you can disconnect the plug under the seat to stop it
