Hi guys,

On my Octavia cooling fan started to make quite annoying noise. Better then describing it I recorded a video. It is quite clear to hear it when u put volume up and after a switch off engine.

I think it could be fan itself, but I don't know.

So any idea what it is causing it and how to fix it, or does it have to go garage?

1. Get a VCDS and check error code .

2. Depending upon hardware ( FAN1 or FAN2 ) get wiring checked which attaches to the coupler . A good electrician would be able to do so .

Sounds like your air con gas is low.

Had that sound before!

I booked it with dealer to repair it

Had the same noise on mine, re-gas of the climate system fixed the problem..
