So i sold the Fabia VRS and got myself into a 05 Octavia VRS...

As it stands its fully standard. Plans are nothing major to be honest small bits and bobs to the looks here and there. Im not really after more power but might consider remap in the future.

Picked up a vrs engine cover on ebay for £7.21, in very decent condition i must say!

My old one looked like this ...

And the new (used) cover...

Will get pics of it fitted soon

Other then that nothing new exept a cheap sub i picked up on gumtree, and a pioneer headunit i nicked of my mate! Sounds so much better now. Even removed the cd chamger and bracket from the boot make it a bit neater.

Im looking to mount my usb socket and aux line in socket into the spare button plug on the dash :)

Next up is black grill. Looking for the easiest and cheapest way!

Also I like the thread that cezch dude had up! Really want me some of those new skoda badges for front grill and boot...

i forgot to PM you back, i asked one of the mechanics that used to work on the car a lot and he said yes it was remapped by sanspeeds who are a interdependent company down this way. but unfortunately that's the only info i could find.

I dont ever remember the engine cover looking like that! lol

and on the painted grill subject.. try plastidip take a look at pete's thread here post number 11 is when he did it and then carry on looking you will get some great ideas from IMHO one of the best all round MK1's on this forum.

Found out sanspeed mapped it in 09 couldnt get anymore info of them but guess its good news!

Really want to do things to it but funds are an issue atm :p

and has it still got the Saunders Abbott plates on it?

I would have got an LCR but recently ive been scraping everything! I seriously dont see how people can run this car lower than standard. I seriously have trouble on my driveway and on speedbumps so i cant see an LCR lasting more than a day unfortunatly! and i know they just set the car off so nice too...:(

yeah i have the same problem but i have the splitter really dont know how people put up with being lowered! lol
