I have had a thought when looking at the rear end of my vRS SE - it looks pretty boring being all one colour, so I was toying with the idea of a black number plate holder to break it up a bit. It would also match the front which is sitting on that black holder/plinth thing.

I've seen these on loads of VWs and other cars that have an OE+ style, does anyone have one fitted that can post a pic for me to make up my mind on whether to go for it or not? It would only be a black one, nothing chrome and doesn't need to have a slogan or dealer details.

Just be aware that the numberplate needs to be either screwed onto the car still, or the holder screwed to the car and then the plate stuck to the holder as they are a plate surround not a plate holder.
