best mid range door speakers and tweeters

Featured Replies

As above my speakers are no good and wanting to change them also can someone point me in the right direction for the adapters you need to use.

Cheers Ant

I got alpine speakers from halfrauds. I think they were on sale at £40ish. they're great! Never had any issues with the sound, I have a sub though, and without, the bass is lacking. I expect there are better ones out there for the money, but these suit me just fine.

I used mk4 golf adapters. Simply drill out the rivets and replace with the supplied cage nuts and screws. Remember to get some new clips for your door trims ;)

I've ordered some mk4 golf adapters and been looking at some vibe black air 6

Is anybody using theses and do they fit ok

If they're 60ish mm deep or less, then they should fit. Otherwise you're into modded door card territory.

Get at least a 2x100 or 2x125 amp. A decent one that hopes to make RMS numbers near those splashed across it's frontage. :)

No buddy I've got a full hertz in the car. They sound awesome cost a lot but I am glad I did it.

+1 on Hertz. Love mine!

What hertz could you post a eBay link thanks

Defo Hertz if you can stretch.

Don't think any Hertz ones will fit without lots of effort spacing, and risk of vibrating on door panel at full excursion.
