Featured Replies

just wondering if any one would be intrested in ebc red stuff pads for the fabia vrs

spoken to ebc today and they say they would do some but would like to make 40 sets to make it worth there while

if intrested please add you name to the bottom of the tread and i can find out some prices when we know how many people are intrested

Going off at a slight tangent...

As you've found, EBC don't (currently) make Redstuff pads for the Fabia. They don't list Redstuff pads for the Octavia, either, but a little detective work shows that the front pads for an Audi S3 1.8 turbo (1999 - ) will fit. No Redstuff for the rear pads though :( I wonder if they'd do the same deal (for Octy rear pads) as for the Fabia, and if there's any interest?

Erm, I've had redstuff rears on the Octy RS.

Shame the red stuff on the front caught fire :(

Erm' date=' I've had redstuff rears on the Octy RS.

Are the RS rears the same as the bog-standard 1.8Ts? Do you have the part numbers?

Found the fronts for mine by a bit of detective work on the ebcbrakesdirect.com website:-

Octavia 1.8T 2001 onwards

OEM replacement - DP1330

Upgrade- Greenstuff - DP21330

Audi S3 1.8 turbo 1999 onwards

OEM replacement (Greenstuff) - DP21330

Upgrade - Redstuff C - DP31330

Unfortunately the website only lists OEM (DP1230) and Greenstuff (DP21230) for the rears :(

So, it's Redstuff for the front, and Greenstuff for the rears (I know, I know - but they must be better than OEM, surely?)

p.s. Craig - apologies for hi-jacking your thread. OK folks, back to discussing Redstuff for Furbies :)
