The dip beam lights on my Octavia Estate are smack on, both for my use and for MOT purposes, but the main beams seem to provide better illumination of the tops of trees rather than the road ahead. Is there any way of lowering the full beams without doing the same to the dip beams? If not, thenI fear I will be back to ask your advice on how to correctly wire in a couple of good spotlights!

Take a look at this thread n- second pic down there is an adjuster at the back of the headlight facing up that is adkjusted with a scredriver held vertically - that;'s the one for the vertical alignment of the main beam...
