Fabia vrs, spacers and standard wheels?

Featured Replies

I like the look of spaced wheels and was wondering if it would improve the look of my fabia seen a few on here with spacers but none on standard wheels? Anyone got any pictures and/ recommend some spacers?

Car would be lowered on eibachs shouldn't make a problem as its not too low?

Cheers

I ran 15mm on front and 20mm on rear!

Looks brilliant!

I like! Where can I get spacers similar are they car specific or universal do?

Saved me asking the same question ...Dan your car looks stunning :-)

I'm currently spaced out 15mm on the front and 20mm on the rear.

It gives the car a really moan stance but still looks natural and suits the car.

My car is silver and the wheels are standard colour too. I'll try and get you pics.

I got my spacers and bolts from eBay, about 90 all in. From a company called 'jjraceandrally' or something like that.

On a side note, the spacers dramatically improve the handling of the car imo. The fronts especially seem to kill a lot of that roll in the corners and seems to have made the car a lot more responsive.

I didn't expect a performance gain at all but I definitely feel that they had that affect.

Thanks mate, maybe some more pics tomorrow once I've cleaned it and I can test out my missus' S3 :)

Don't buy the universal ones they are rubbish, you need the hubcentric ones, even better if they are bolt on rather than the bolt throughs!

Should see big deanos spaced vrs. 29.5 on back . Looks **** hot.

All the way down on the back and about 12 turns remaining on the front - with AP coilovers :)

Sorry to bump an old thread, Google brought me here

Can you go all the way down on the rear on AP's with the 20mm spacers Dan??

Yes with adjusters in, but you will risk chipping the paint on the arch :(

Would 15mm on the rear clear it?? and what about the front, looks like 20mm will be ok??

On AP coilovers I run no adjusters  and 15mm spacers. Clearance is fine but I wouldn't want to stick much further out on 205 tyres.

15mm rear will be fine. I ran 15mm front and IT was fine but the amount of tar the wider stance flung up the sides made me remove them....even with mudflaps! 10mm was a bit better but not great! In the end I settled with 5mm ones :)

Ordered a set of AP coilovers from DPM today, will give it a shot with 20mm on rear and don't plan on going all the way down, plus i rarely have passengers in the rear so may be alright

otherwise the 20's can go up front and 15's on the rear, leaving a couple of inches between wheel and arch

thanks for the help
