Nothing wrong with normal 1.8t ones as long as you have the latest revision. Earlier ones failed causing VAG to replace effected ones FOC. 2.0tfsi packs are more reliable apparently.

Not only has there been no 2.0tfsi coil fail they also provide a stronger spark and allow a adjustment on spark gaps

Also can benefit when mapping :-)

Cool sound good. Mine haven't long been replaced under the recall so will wait until they fail.

very worthwhile upgrade as it eliminated misfire issues on mine (mapped and LPG) increase in fuel economy and power thanks to a better spark as well
