passenger rear window and also in limbo re selling

Featured Replies

Hi i was just wondering if it was a mot fail seeling it shut. Also am getting a bit bored there is nothing wrong with the car is great mechanicly fsh and since ive had it ive replaced my rear shocks console bushes track rod end ball joint and drop links. Its a sdi estate. Ive also fixed the sills and arxhes of very light surface rust. Not a pro job but got it mached ok and looks better than rust stains. Problem is am just getting bored of lack of speed being the sdi. Can you get them mapped????cheers bob

Best thing you can do if you want more bhp from an SDi is chop it in against a TDi. Sorry, there's virtually bugger all you can do with that engine.

Well that was what i was thinking. But then keep thinking about the mpg and ins tax. Its so cheap to run but boring or something more expensive but fun i just dont no.

Should also say its our only car which i use for my window cleaning and family (2dogs 1kid and 1 on way so was possibly thinking something bigger???

If you wanted something bigger for 2 kids + dogs, you can't go wrong with a MkI Octavia estate IMO. 1.9Tdi PD, mappable, tons of space in the back. For fun there's a vRS estate, again, I'd go TDi

Second 1 is stunning and 1st is nice 2 depending what i get for mine could possibly have about a grand all depending on sale or trade of mine.

there's some bargains to be had if you look about. The 1.9TDi PD is one of the best diesel engines around, although it's no longer made AFAIK. Don't be put off by high mileage, looked after, ie regular servicing, right oil etc 100K is just run in.
