Console bush fitting

Featured Replies

Hi guys, have had a quote of £150 to fit two rear console bushes including wheel alignment, does this seem really high to everyone or is it just me?? is it worth me investing in the right tool for £30 and having a go myself instead?? thanks

Doesn't seem too bad.

I paid £90 fitting for mine, and got a 4 wheel laser alignment done for £45 at a later date.

Hmm could be worth it maybe, was yours knocking before they got changed as well??

No, they were split so made the handling a bit iffy. Would have probably failed an MoT on them too.

Yeah think i better bite the bullit and just get it done if the price seems right, thanks though :)

Not to mention it can be a real pain in the ass getting the bush in/out.

Ive done few now and everytime I swear I'll pay for it doing next time.

£150 including alignment seems ok, not cheap but ok.

A mechanic mate just fitted a new wishbone on mine for £40 after the front end had been "clunking" & "squeaking" for ages. This included the console bush.

Got the other side to do, so £80 in total! (That was mates rates though)!
