Front passenger window going down ..

Featured Replies

Hi .. My front passenger Electric window goes down on its own Now and then .. Happened to anyone else . ??? ( Monte Carlo )

I believe this is a common issue.

You may find yourself pressing and holding the unlock / lock key which also has the same effect.

If it persists, I suggest taking it in to be looked at.

Cheers stu vrs .. When I had its first service the other day I Mentioned it had happened 3 times in a year , so the said it Wasn't showing fault , so took fuse out and put back in to see if it Reset it , but now seems worse . Happened 3 times tonight. !!

Try running the windows all the way up and down manually and then pressing the switch in that direction. I believe if when they reach the limit of travel and you instruct the window to go in that direction (e.g. when the window is fully up you pull the switch up again) it also resets the windows that way - I may not be quite correct though.
