Favorit value

Featured Replies

Just out of interest, how rare are Favorit's now? Seen a faded red (Corsa Pink) Favorit parked up round the corner. Just wondered how scarce these are now and what they go for. I realise age condition will be a major factor. Any guesses, folks?

Loved my little Blackline estate & sold it a good many years back for around £400 I think.

Still see a few down this way but tbh most tend to be showing their age. I'd say overall they are becoming rarer & would imagine in most cases value isn't that significant, unless you're talking about pristine examples! ;)

Cheers, Rob. I might take a closer look tomorrow :bandit: Maybe get a pic or two.

they definitely are rare cars now, not as rare as something like a lada samara or a yugo but they are heading that way... favorit has a lot of tuning potential too, chuck in a 1600 16v engine on bike carbs and youre away.

Good old fashioned Skoda engineering (leading into the VW era) & covered a shed load of miles in mine

Happy viewing :)

Tom, thanks. It was OTR so I'd hope it has some tax/MOT. I might leave my number under the wiper.

funny how things happen... I saw a really really good favorit today on the way to wrok, lovely blue colour with some aftrmarket rear lights, lovely looking car. I would step over my grandmothers grave to get a half decent favorit like that.

I went back today, couldn't have a proper look as I was running late. Managed to get a quick pick and noticed some gaffer tape on the O/S/R wheel arch. Had a quick word with the neighbour as she just turned up and she said it hardly moves. Maybe once or twice a week.

Favorits are getting rarer but they aren't worth a great deal....you can get a very tidy one for under a grand. There's a low mileage estate with 5,500 miles on the clock for £1795 on car and classic at the moment but I reckon its at least £500 too expensive....maybe more. I had a near immaculate Flairline hatch in summer 2011 that I sold for £700 and it had been breathed upon to give an extra horse or 2.

Ahh, application of the trusty gaffer tape! Have to agree with what's been said & would be more than happy to go back to one, only at the right price mind you! ;)

My dad had a Samara, the worst car I've ever driven! Very agricultural, and I cant remember if it was designed for a creature (Human) with really long legs and short arms or really short legs and long arms!!?

They're not worth a lot at the moment, I may have to dispose of one sometime this year.

Really? Please update me nearer the time.

in Russia you don't drive the car, the car drive you.

I would to get my hands on a Lada samara to play about with, stick a mahoosive engine in it..

My Flairline estate is still serving me well, as friends BMW's regularly perish. Great load space, fun to drive and own. DIY heaven with regards to the mechanicals. I've done 15,000 miles in mine, and it's just needed a driveshaft. £400 paid 18 months ago, and it sailed straight through the last MOT.

 Sounds just like my old Blackline estate. Clocked up not far short of 100k in her & still going strong when sold ;)

Favorit Blackline, needs a wash!

Ergh, fair enough it might have been a workhorse for somebody, but seriously, how the hell can you sit in all that mank?! Raggers

Ahh, just like my old girl without the added grime! :o

Good spring clean she'd be fine ;)

That's not a Blackline, they only came in Black!! lol!

I'd never buy anything from a dealer so lazy that they'd offer even a cheap banger in such a disgusting state...
