A guy in america has a 1.8T engine'd Jetta whcih has clocked up 500k miles. Even more impressive is the lack of wear in the engine. All the components were still in factory specification.

Think most of our engines have a lot of catching up to do. :-)

One of the best VW engines. Which is why I wont swap mine for a TSI/FSI!
