Hello all, my monte is due to make an appearance this friday and ive gotta say, I am getting that being 8 years old again feeling....!

It is an 86 tsi, in red with bluetooth which is all I need really. It is replacing a 10 plate 'sport' with the htp motor whic has been very good over 51k. I have enjoyed three htps over the last seven years, each engine being better than the last so I have high hopes for the tsi version! It isnt going to have the triples character/sound which I personally like, but the wee bit of extra go should make up for it. Thought about an se, but the seats in a monte are the same as the sport and they are more suited to me, so good excuse etc.

Will report back if all goes according to plan....

Yep, reckon so. Alan at t&p had 16 cars all arriving at the same time. Nearly felt guilty grumping on at him about mine.......

Didnt help that I was sitting in Dundee Skoda yesterday for a drop link on mine and right next to me was a red Monte in the showroom!
