1.2 TSi Remap

Featured Replies

They are located a mile from my home and warranty expired yesterday. Is this nature's way of telling me a remap is needed

Just read loads of reviews on various Audi forums - without exception every comment is not only positive, but ecstatically so.

Now, I wonder what he can do with a "simple" upgrade to a 1.8TSi (once it's out of warranty) and more to the point, I wonder what my insurers will say!

I would expect, if your insurer will accept the remap, and many don't as I have found out, that about 10% extra.

I'm with Skoda insurance and they have been fine with all my mods, remap, winter tyres, steering wheel and brakes. Oh, and using it for voluntary work as well.

My insurer LV will insure after a remap - the increase is very dependant on individual driving records etc.
