Featured Replies

n e 1 know where i can get a good priced "green cotton panel air filter" for a furby? should i just buy from http://www.greenfilters.com/ or does somewhere like Halfords (or in chavyboys case - B&Q) sell them? or even ebay?

Demontweaks and ask for the Brisky discount, or if you want one in a hurry, www.needforspeed.co.uk :D

u lot have prob been asked before - but why shouldnt i put a green filter induction kit on? from what i hear on this site, you all just "pop" the panel in to the existing air filter - why?

The only gains to be had from a Green (imho) are a bit of extra induction noise and that they can be cleaned so don't need replacing every 10k miles. However, once you've bought the filter and the cleaning fluid, you could have bought 4 or 5 OEM filters.

Fitting wise, it's just two screws, open the air box, remove old filter, drop in new filter and refit air box lid. 2-5 minute job, depending on how far your tools are from the car ;)

Also depends if you have a strut brace fitted. Mine makes life very difficult getting to the air box, a very tight squeeze!

also as I found on a standard (non-tuned) Furbie you do lose some of the top end pull and speed. Though it did smoke less

If you have a socket set, the strut brace comes off in no time ;)

Would you get some of this back with the Cupra Intake as well as the filter on a standard Furbie, do you think?

not sure but what I should have made more clearer was what I meant by "top end". I'm talking above a 100, which in the real world you dont really need to worry about.

There was a GB on these not long ago.

If you check that out you will see what was said about them there.

We do also still have them in stock , but the GB special is over but I could still offer you a 10% discount on this and post one out to you today.
