So I have ordered my Citigo SE ASG 5dr today, red with black stripe. Thanks again for all the feedback on my previous thread. My local dealer (Bickerton, Sheffield) refused to give me the extended warranty for free. I made it quite clear I was ready to buy on HP, but the guy went to see his manager, came back and said no deal. So we walked out without any further discussion He didn't even negotiate. Maybe I am being naive but surely a sale at a reduced rate is better than no sale at all? Anyway, at this point I was very disappointed, but we thought we'd give Gordon Lamb at Chesterfield a go, and they HAVE given me the additional 2 years, plus a £15 reduction on the PID to match the price I saw online (I have paid in full for the mats!) The salesman was much more professional too. So it's a big thumbs up to Gordon Lamb and a big "get stuffed" to Bickerton.

Now the wait begins!

Estimate is 01 June. I should have said now the waiting - and saving! - begins.

I've only ever drive my current car, a Yaris.

It won't be long until it arrives and the real enjoyment can begin.

Just goes to show there are dealers out there that are more professional that the others.

I'm just glad that it is the service side of the dealer that I chose. As I always say if the product is right it sells itself. However, its the after sales service that keeps the customers coming back time after time.

Red with black stripes sounds great. I saw some quite nice black multispoke wheeltrims when I was on holiday in Germany last year - might look good. Though I do like the black alloys.

Glad you're happy mate! Looking at the full thread it looks like we ordered about the same time (14th of March for mine). I picked mine up on the 24th. Our cars look very similar too but the missus wouldn't let me have the stripes!!
