New guy, just got myself a 2008 Octavia VRS TFSI

Featured Replies

Hello, just sold my 2004 A4 s line, pictured below, got really good money for it so it had to go. Picked up my 2008 VRS TFSI yesterday, really nice car to drive, overall very happy.

Today i gave it a clean and changed the gearbox oil, next week im renewing the cambelt kit, water pump, aux belt and tensioner, also the coolant.

Old car, really miss it tbh, did have it for nearly 3 years though...

Welcome and congrats

Looks very nice

Welcome to Briskoda. :)

Welcome! It looks great for 98k! Brings me confidence that mine will go on for a few thousand miles yet! :) Would you say you notice the handling difference much from your A4 to the vRS?

The Audi handled better yes as it had a better suspension set up, control arms etc. The octavia is a bit more boat like but that may be just me as my Audi was very stiff on the road as i fitted it with Eibach sportlines, new shocks etc.

Hi and welcome aboard.
