Octavia Vrs Problem

Hi All,

Have a strange problem with my 2005 vrs AUQ, sometimes when I'm driving the engine goes flat like a dying effect! Then kicks back in.

It's been going on a few months now, so last weekend I gave it a full service with new plugs and did the timing belt and water pump as they were due. Only thing I didn't change was the fuel filter!

Any ideas

Sounds like the coilpacks to me, had the same symptoms.

Called up your local dealer and check its possibly due for a recall on these, if so they will do it free of charge. Campaign is 28F7 I believe.

My boost loss was down to my temp sender.

i also have this same problem i din change the fuel filter , i was confused if fuel filter was the reason ? any one please help ? fuel filter have that much role in perfomance ?

Depends when it was lasted changed! Every 3-4 years is OK.

i had this problem got told it could be recuirc valve failing under pressure or bootst lek but in the end it was my turbo on its way out wich is still sat outside house due to funds
