Sorry no its not a garret it's just a hybrid of my normal turbo I forgets the pd130is an actual turbo haha aet turbos are good

I had an Aet hybrid on my last octy very good quality

He said it will take 2 days they will use a 360 thrust bearing new blades polish the inside of the turbo and change the internals for stronger stuff he said I can run it off my current map which will mean its stronger for more abuse and more capable with the map it will also boost harder for longer and be capable of running it off standard cooling etc because its not technically a bigger turbo its just a stronger one of the standard it will run up to 220ish bhp too with the right gear on it

Does he know its a kkk unit though not a garret? Alot of places wont touch them, i suppose its normally the internals that go so will be interesting to see how it fairs.

I spoke to half a dozen other companies and only CR Turbos said they'd consider looking at doing anything with my old KKK unit

Aet do pretty much anything and he said he's done loads of hybrids on the fabia turbo if you been on there site they do turbos for everything even ships! It's a massive company and I have him my reg and he said it would be no problem tempted very tempted.. We will see haha

We can rebuild these with the stronger motorsport seals and bearings.

On the unit pictured it looks like the profile on the compressor cover may be damaged, you could take it off and have a look to see if it has gauged out the profile.

Prices on these are dependent on the condition of your old unit and would be between £299+VAT and £420+VAT, provided your compressor cover is in serviceable condition.

I guess the same applies without the uncertainly of damage if your unit is straight off the car

I'm sold that following a failure it would be better to get a dead KKK PD130 turned into an AET PD130 than it would be to buy another KKK or Garrett but I don't think the end result is a performance enhancing hybrid in the same way as a darkside developments job.

Probably not as powerful no but less lag stronger turby 360 degree trust bearing and a polish out etc I recon with choice mods and a map you can still see 200bhp ok a budget without trouble
