vRS rear bumper same profile as the standard Fabia?

Featured Replies

Believe the Skoda moulded rear mud-flaps will fit the vRS without modification. If this is correct then am I safe in assuming the bumper arch profile and liner screw positions are the same as the standard car :wonder:

Thanks,

TP

Iirc you are spot on.

Its just a stand bumper with a defuser and exhaust exit cut in to it.

Unlike the monte the defuser does wrap round the edge of the bumper.

That's it. I am going down to the SKODA dealer tomorrow. I went down last week, to ask about exactly this problem.

The parts guy told me the rear mudflaps won't fit the RS. But, I admit, the parts guy looked like the closest he got to a garage was refueling his Volvo.

Anyone got a pic of the fitted item?

I spent 6 months working for skoda (only moved on a got a better offer and missed working with trucks)

The guy is kind of correct the info on mudflaps states They dont fit. But im sure they do :)

There are two types of parts guys in my opion ones that rely purely on a bit of text on a screen and ones that will actully look into it more.

I personally make a point of trying to learn differences of spec of vehicles (from options to panels shape and styles of bodywork) purely because i think its helps me help a customer and understand what they want.

Many others have no intrest in the cars or brand and jus turn and rely on the screen to give them the info lol

Awesome thanks.

I get a lot of road grime here, and it's been raining here for three months, flooded three times, mudflaps might help with some of the crap I'm picking up off the road surface.

Viva la old school
