The situation with potholes is not going to get any better any sooner.

My local council has just knocked back my claim for a new tyre after it was damaged by one of their potholes.

When the vRS is dead I'll be swapping it for a Scout.

Yep, it will only get worse. I may get an Octy 3 next and will want to spec the underbody protection, offroad suspension and the smallest size wheels they will sell (16s, by the looks of it).

However, SUK don't seem to want to sell those options here, so may get from Ireland.

I can see it now, future options lists...

It's quite worrying the suspension collapsed.

Makes you wonder how many pot holes were hit, how bad or if there was a manufacturing fault with the car itself?

Doesnt bear thinking about if that'd happened on a motorway
