I have got a terrible rattle that seems to come from the engine bay when under hard acceleration in 2nd and 3rd its most noticeable as its these gears that I tend to thrash through the gears full throttle once warm.

I will be going the dealership to see what they say but wanted to findout if any of you have had the same issue at all with the 1.2 TSI engine.

Had similar and they swapped the cylinder head...

two months later, the turbo went...

the day after getting the new turbo, the whole engine failed!

All replaced under warranty. i was told the oil pump chain failed.

got new engine and turbo but now its out of warranty so not too much faith in it to be honest!
