Remap done :)

Featured Replies

i have spent about 2 hours trying to find something definitive on this topic, i have to admit i`m struggling one way or the other

one guy did mention something interesting (sceptic btw). if it does work why dont they show a bore picture with an endoscope

More questions! Did you have the rolling road session before the remap? Also how does the launch control work? Is it worth it?

yeh before the remap and after that's what he does if you go for the rolling road option, I haven't used the launch control yet as the roads have been wet and I don't wanna risk it at the minute untill I get an updated clutch. You put it in gear. put your foot on the clutch and foot to the floor on the accelerator and it won't let it rev past 2.5k untill you let the clutch out

Your maf is causing that dip between 3k and 4k rpm also may be a case of sticking turbo vanes!

Does it still stop at 2.5 if just in neutral with the foot off the clutch?

yea it still stops at 2.5 in neutral also..

Thought so, heard it was to do with your speed. As soon as you go over a set speed it will let you rev freely.

i haven't used it yet as I'm a bit unsure weather the standard clutch will be able to cope with it and not ready to fork out on an uprated one yet !

Yer i would wait for a new one aswell. Heard its just a party piece and shouldn't be used to often even with an uprated one.

That'll be fun at track day noise tests..

considering diesels don't make any noise compared to petrols I highly doubt there will be any problem..

Launch control disengauges after u go over 5mph

You missed the point, you're required to rev to ~4krpm for sound check.
