Thought about getting a 2 post ramp in my garage but the height is just a bit low at just under 10 feet. Could maybe adjust some of the trusses to give me another couple of feet. Is that axle stands your car is on or a small ramp? Cant see clearly on my phone screen.

Its on a ramp which raises out of the floor..

If you look in the user manual it states 180,000km and no time period. I rang Skoda in Bath, and they said yes 180,000km (112,000 miles) or 4 years, whichever comes first. To be honest my original belt looked fine after almost 5 years and 98k.

This is what skoda uk say,if you do a search on here you will see that the cambelt change interval has been done to death on here many times, mine was replaced at 4 years old & approx 40,000miles & like yours there was no obvious wear or damage,it had a bit of coolant staining on the water pump but that was it,the manual doesnt give a time interval but skoda uk say 4 years or 60,000m for the tfsi engine, diesels are different mileage's but still 4 years,vw say 5 years for the same engine.

Same on all forums, cambelt questions come up daily, especially on cliosport.net.

What make and type of ramp is that? Looks like something I could use.

Cheers

Im not sure, will have a look at some point, i would imagine they are expensive as the pit beneath the ramps is 14ft deep.

Re-checked my timing marks today as it was playing on my mind all week. They line up now, strange....

My mate did my timing belt the other night and i serviced the car, removing the engine mounting was a nightmare:(
