Omg i want a 2260 kit!

Featured Replies

Mate just had his polo on the rr today

Its a pd130 (essentially a fabia vrs) with darkside kit gtb2260 with 120% nozzles

It made 284bhp and 400lb/ft of torque and smoked the whole place out!

There was also a golf anni tdi with a 2260 darkside kit which made 263bhp and 370lb/ft

Impressive stuff!

Oh and my 150 leon made a lowly 198bhp and 332lb/ft!

Another lad i know has the 2260 made into a hybrid but was unable to make it today! Would have been nice to see what it could do

I'm surprised you managed to get anywhere considering the snow that you've got?

Tis all gone this morning!

The leon can go anywhere! I see snow as a personal challenge :)

You got any pics of these cars? I keep looking at the ibiza cupra 160 but don't know if I'd regret getting rid of the furby

No pics but ones a golf gti tdi anniversary, with shadow chrome bbs wheels and brembo's. looks like a really nice standard car

The polo is a 54 plate in blue and looks completely stock but yet again isnt!

Just do it! This is what my 150 leon made with just a remap

How do you rate the Leon to the Fabia? Was looking at one a few years back but wanted the cupra diesel

Looks better

Its quicker

More room

Fmic as standard

Bigger turbo

Other than that very much the same car

I have a leon fr tdi 05 plate, the fr superceeds the cupra

I've been in two minds about modifiying my Ibiza FR, After much thought ive decided a 2008 Seat Leon BTCC edition is on the cards instead. My dream car.

The btcc Leon's look stunning :)

Whats a btcc leon? never heard of one!

It's got the British touring car body kit on it. Looks the nuts!

The mk2 leon has yet to grow on me!

The dash is rather fugly :o especially around the cd player

Thought they are called k1s?

The picture of the white one is a k1 but its the same kit!

Ahhhh! I know these as Joe said "K1s". I like them, they do look a bit "over kitted" for me though, that kit on a Cupra R would be spot on, but I'd maybe feel a little too dressed up for a 200bhp fr (which is the majority of what I seem them being). Not taking anything away from it though, very nice motor though, wide and in your face.

Jase, any graphs of the 2260 cars?

You could have the kit on the 105bhp derv too lol, all show no go :p

It can still be tuned though :)

No graphs of them but hopefully copys will be posted on another forum by the owners :)

But 284bhp was mightily impressive! Saying that i think it used more coolant than fuel!

Suffering head lift due to the power and thats on ARP bolts too :o

I've had no head lift and I think mine is now running close to / maybe a bit over 300bhp. Not sure really what causes it - whether its a timing / mapping thing?

Possibly.

Its also on 129k too so maybe has something to do with it.

Could be anything causing a leak may not even be the head at all!

My 40k mile fabia vrs used to drink water and i couldnt ever find the issue so ended up selling it on

Yeh thats the same trouble mine has had -head lifting. Ive got some strong studs going on to prevent it (and thats only at 230bhp!)

Devonutopia- how have you managed to get away with this?? Do the pd100's have stronger head studs than the 130's!? :)
