Hi has anyone got any advise or where to look for a reconditioned octavia vrs (late06 model) engine.

I had located one at ideal engines but after looking at some reviews on them i have decided to look elsewhere.Im based in Ireland but looking in the UK for the engine so my knowledge of the market is limited.

Any help in pointing me in the right direction would be appreciated.

search ebay uk theres a 2.0 vrs engine fully fitted for £1895 in bolton, they may sell it without fitting

Look up up VAGE, they do recon engines, gearbox's plus others stuff. Sold loads of there stuff when I sold car parts.

What happened to the original if you don't mind me asking?

There's one on eBay for a grand. Statllers in Sheffield stock a few engines I believe.

The trouble with them is that they are slow to update there website sometimes.

Id give Statlers a shout, they seem to have a lot of replacement engines
