Xenon headlights with AFS II (standard on vRS)

Featured Replies

I saw that too - I think it is just that all the very last run out models (DSG CR Estates) have Xenons.

It seems that about 5 such cars are available to order as new cars from what my dealer told me.

They are still listed as an option on the vRS:

Xenon headlights and AFS II, with dynamic angle control and integrated front headlight washers £760.00

The Skoda UK site has a long history of inaccuracies when it comes to spec and technical info.

i started an identical topic the other day, no xenons on my car which i collected today

No point in checking with SUK customer services because if it was like my query they just read the brochure then guess ( in my case wrongly!!) .

I'm sure it's because the new cars you order now will have Xenons...

I'm sure it's because the new cars you order now will have Xenons...

But production has ceased alledgedly so not sure how you can order a specced car.

Well, what I mean is, the cars that are supposedly left all now have Xenons (and various other options). The reason i know this is because I enquired about ordering one today. My dealer gave me a choice of 5 in varying specs and colours, but all with Xenons...

Production has ceased but trust me there will be plenty of right hand drive vRS's in stock either on an airfield in the UK or at the port.

Skoda aren't daft enough to have no vRS option between now and the MkIII arriving.

It's the same with the Scout, still plenty of new unregistered cars floating around, being drip fed into the network. Production of the Scout stopped well before the vRS too.

The last vRS build will have all included xenon's as a little incentive, just like any other end of line model, similar to the FOC extras on the Blackline.

Take a look at all of the Seat Leon Copa's on Autotrader. Most of them also have the bi-xenon headlights and DRL's as a nice little freebie to help them out of the showroom.

As above, Skoda UK would have held an allocation of cars for the final production run, all will have varying specs. SUK may have seen fit to stick Xenons on all these cars but you'll almost certainly pay for it as an optional extra, wont be counted as standard kit.....I had to pay for the spare wheel that came with my Blackline that I didnt ask for.
