Strange boost problem vRS

Hello all,

Having some strange boost problems, very similar to the below:

The boost is fine in low gears but in a higher gear at full throttle, the boost seems to cut out at 2000rpm, the revs drop, then rise again and starts to boost again slightly.

Just now, the boost seem to cut out all together.

After an engine restart the boost came back, but the rev dropping / boost dropping issue in a high gear seems to remain.

A lot of suggestions point towards the bypass / recirc valve, any other ideas?
