You will not be disappointed - and that's how you polish a turd Fred44

My turd is reasonably well polished now and just loves upsetting proper cars!

Anyway that Oscar pistorious bloke goes well on his modded legs? So modding can work! Just keep him away from guns !

:D actually loling, because drifting is the epitome of good handling cars.

erm yes actually obviously you must know nothing about drifting as the ammount of work and effort to get the car to handle exactly to the mill where they want it is quite impressive considering i used to do this would give me some leverage and knowledge to say im right on this occasion ;)

anyone can throw a rear wheel drive car into a bend at 40/50 but to do it right and get it to drift on a 2 pence piece is an art form youll be amazed at what goes into setting one up. so to run air is a brave move but is working well

so again my vote is AIR

Funny that since AIR is such a great setup for handling more track cars/race cars arnt running it then isnt it? I mean, of the 5 track/comp cars down at a local garage today, none ran air. Some have spent a good few grand on suspension and setup but yet no AIR. Certainly a puzzler isnt it. Even more so when you think how all that extra weight will make the car so much more agile and nimble. How strange, they are obviously all going the total wrong direction with getting their cars to handle well. :D :D

I agree that a fair amount of time and effort goes into making a drift car do what they want it to do, which is drift/slide. I'm sure that the air ride is doing its job for the purpose they want it for in that sense. However, that is not the same as making the car go round a track as fast as possible.

You cannot polish a turd...............but you can roll it in gliiter ! :giggle: :giggle: :giggle: :giggle:

You cant polish a turd - save your money and put it towards a better car.

You not watched Myth Busters? They polished dung.

funny i never mentioned track cars

might be worth watchin a drifting competition or video from companies such as jap speed etc . coilovers are the obvious choice but air is a still a stable option as once airbags are at set pressure no airs going to leak out or am i missing the point..

and the original op im sure isnt going to be tear arsing around tracks on a daily basis and with every road in britain with humps on them air is still a great option or i maybe be missing the point

As the title, with money being no object, whats the best suspension/coilovers to go for? Im pretty sick off my cheap £200 coilovers and will be looking to purchase some expensive suspension

Put the oem setup back on then go on a car control day with Don Palmer.

Interesting read this thread. So to those of you running coilovers and running a Whiteline FARB and RARB, is it worth the outlay for the FARB as I'm sure I read on here a while ago that the FARB isn't worth doing as it's not really noticeable over the stock item once fitted?

Views and opinions please chaps?

ying yang macca-dang-dangs
