Wheels need a refurb

Featured Replies

Just got back from Italy. When I had my winters fitted, both the guys fitting the tyres and the pro-detailer that prepped the car said my wheels were gash and probably would not survive the transition back to summers upon my return.

Well here I am and I'll be driving to Lake Garda in 3 weeks for the whole summer. So need to sort something out. What's the easiest way to go about it? What's a good price for good work? Where can I get new ones of those little Skoda centre caps?

Thanks guys.

Ring around your local businesses. Ideally you want a full tyre off, bare alloy job. Itll be about £300 in all.

Centre caps can be got from Skoda.

Beware, the new RS wheel centre caps are stupidly expensive from Skoda. Didn't stop me buying a new set though!

The RS caps are a different part number to boggo Octavia ones. Think the colours are different or they're smoked or some jazz.

Yeah about £32 the set.

A shame you cant just buy the badges seperate.
