Towbar Specific Wiring Kit Connections

Hi,

2012 Octavia 1.6 CR Estate SE

I am currently installing the Skoda towbar wiring kit EEA600101AEL4, still the current part number I believe.

The instructions detail wiring connections to the Central Control Unit (J393).

Elsawin states this unit is now superceded by Vehicle Voltage Control Unit J519.

Does anyone have the correct wiring instructions for connecting to the VCCU ?

After several chats with the Main Stealer, I have concluded they provided the kit for a 2004-2009 model.

On a journey from Cotswolds to Mid Wales (109 miles), I achieved 69mpg. Anyone else achieving similar returns? Journey was part motorway - M5, Gloucester to Worcester South - then Kidderminster, Bridgenorth, Shrewsbury. Cheers

I'm looking at a 2020 Kamiq SEL as a second car, which has the fairly rare 'adaptive' cruise control (not 'predictive adaptive'). I've had mixed experiences with ACC on two Citroens. My recent C5 has it, and it works great and very smoothly so long as you remember that all it really does is keep you on station with the car in front and stop you running into it. Before that had an older Berlingo. That had ACC that it worked, but that system braked fairly hard and later than I'd have liked, then a

Our 2019 190 TDI was in the local, friendly, Škoda dealership for its 3rd annual service today. On collecting the car, the Service Manager told us that they'd performed a software update on the ECU but she didn't know what it was for; only that Škoda had mandated it. Has anyone else had this performed or know what it's for? TIA
