Bought the updated speedo for the 1.4mpi however when I plugged it in the car wouldn't start because of the immobiliser I believe is there a way around this or what could I do? There is nothing wrong with my original clocks just fancied a change

Welcome to the forum. Is it just a different style to the dials you want?

In essence they have a backing paper which you could transfer to your current speedo

Thanks for the welcome and yeah they appear to be the same both from the 1.4mpi engine so I could change the paper over I believe how easy is it to do?

It's quite straight forward. Open up the unit by the 8 or so tabs on the outside. This will then just lift off so you can remove the needles. Make sure you take a photo or mark where the needles sit.

To remove the needles rotate anti clockwise and pull off.

Once the needles are off you can simply remove the backing sheet
