4uty2e5e.jpgOK so after cleaning my car yesterday the other half asked what the clay was. So I showed her and she said what with this now. I said put in the bin. ;There mustve been an error in communication and it ended up on the bottom of my cleaning box.

Removing it from my boot today I realised its stuck to my boot carpet. ;Any ideas how to get rid of
Freeze it with a bag of ice cubes and it might just flake off, like with chewing gum... Just a thought.

Tried freezing to not much success.

But it got me thinking about using a chewing gum solution. So googling it wd40 came up.

Used that and a wallpaper scraper and seems to have got it out. Carpet may be a bit balder in the spot but barely noticeable.

Thanks for the steer.

Happy days!

Much better :)

Its nasty stuff if you get it on material - sticks like buggery! This is why it usually comes from the supplier in a plastic case, and wrapped in a plastic layer.
