Fabia vRS pagid brake discs and pads

Featured Replies

Hi

My 05 fabia vrs is needing new brake discs and pads on the front and back, I've looked on eurocarparts website at pagid and im fairly sure i have selected the correct discs.

288mm front

232mm rear

Im struggling to find the correct pads though, as there are about 10 different options even after entering my reg. Im not sure yet if my car has wear indicators or not, but even if it has im not too fussed about it.....

Can someone point me to the correct pagid pads on eurocarparts please?

I also read in another forum post that an M14 SPLINE BIT is needed to remove the rear calipers, is this true?

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

Ok, so i found my answer via another thread. The correct parts are as follows; (for future feference)

Pagid brakes

Front disc = 288mm (104440798)

Rear disc = 232mm (104440748)

Front pad = (101441398)

Rear pad = (101440328)

Does anybody know though if a M14 spline bit is needed to remove the rear calipers??? Wouldn't want to start the job and find I need tools i haven't got.....

No you don't need a m14. If you undo the 2 calliper bolts that are 12mm you can leave the carrier attached the discs WILL come out and the new ones go back on without removing it.

Thread revival.

Does anyone know if the disks come in pairs?

No you have to order two discs.

Thanks.

Just ordered, £121.50 for disks and pads all round. Reasonable I think.

I fitted these discs last week and on my car there was no way you can get them off without removing the carriers as well. I'd make sure you have the tools to hand just in case.

Euro car parts and car parts for less is the same company just bare in mind the latter is internet only so if you get the wrong part you can't swap it at a euro car parts outlet you have to post it back.
